Doesn't last long in kitchen and dining room
These microwave plates (and bowls) are one of my favorite tools. I use bowls (now discontinued) several times a day. The idea is awesome. However, the interior of the cookware quickly becomes discolored with white streaks. (Think of limescale deposits). The seal between the inner and outer shell didn't last very long either. They still work, but once the water gets into the outer bowl, you can't remove it.
