Not a thimble but good grip

I used them to hold the needle better. I am knitting a sheep onto a pillowcase using fine yarn and French knots. Sometimes the needle is difficult to pull out, so they helped me a lot to hold the needle. They sit on my fingers and stay in place. They are thin enough not to impair dexterity. However, they are not thick enough to be used as thimbles. The end of the needle easily goes through these "thimbles" when used as a traditional thimble.
