I have looked at the product description and photos. And while I wasn't expecting a premium item, I figured it would at least be decent. He does his job, but he does it terribly. Static noise is VERY STRONG on my recordings. It sounds like I have a meaty angry fly in my ear the whole time. I bought a new option for this product. It came in these little ziplock bags with no seals or anything. When it arrived the cable was sticking out of the box. So I doubt it was really new. I didn't mind because my thing was if it works, it works. Well it works. But it's a terrible quality. It looks like it's well made, but it means nothing if the product sucks. It's like a pretty face with makeup but a terrible personality. All in all, you get what you pay for: a cheap, low-quality product. If you're making a film about flies and mosquitoes, this cable will help you get the distinctive buzz these insects are famous for.
