Exactly as promised by the manufacturer, high quality.

My first DSLR, but before buying it, I read a lot of articles, reviews about many other brands and models of cameras. For amateur photographers, this camera will be very good. Complete lens - Nikon 18-55mm f / 3.5-5.6G AF-S VR DX Zoom-Nikkor with optical stabilization. It does not differ in transcendental characteristics. Excellent features, sufficient for a beginner in most situations. Although the D3100 cannot reveal its full potential on this optics. The quality of images on a computer, as well as photos taken on a photo printer, changed dramatically when I switched from a simple digital "soap box" to this device. My daughter is ten years old, but she also quickly masters this camera.

Photo quality, user-friendly interface, speed and quality of image processing, easy enough to use for beginner photographers, there are a lot of bells and whistles.
