After refusing to pay $35 for this tower I bought a cheap $15 model that turned out to be a tiny plastic product that kept dropping DVDs across the carpet. Then I came to my senses and paid an extra $20 for this tower and it was worth every penny! The espresso finish looks great, the tower sits perfectly on carpet even when empty. Its height is about 5 feet and the distance between the shelves is adjustable. The turret is made up of parts that you need to assemble, it's very easy to put together, it took about 15 minutes, and the only tools needed are a Phillips screwdriver and a hammer to nail into the back cover parts. All in all this product does everything it's supposed to and even comes with wall mounts which I personally didn't use as it was more than stable on my carpet. This tower is number one on Amazon because it is very profitable.
