We have created a monster. I bought this for crap and giggles just to see if we can teach our cat to use it as a treat bell. We rang the bell and then gave her treats. After about a week she realized that the bell = is a treat. We continued our training, and recently she started ringing the bell herself. Success! Except she realized that when she rings, we'll come running, so now she rings ALL. heals? Dean! pets? Dean! game time? Dean! We need to make sure she can't call us at any time of the day or night. I am very happy with the purchase. Pros: Loud (but not too loud), clear sound. Rubber backing prevents scratches on hardwood floors. Bright, happy print. The metal bell seems to last a long time. Cons: very light, our cat can easily push it on the floor (not even a minus, really)
