Review on πŸ”¦ NEBO Slyde Rechargeable Flashlight with Work Light | 4 Light Modes, Magnetic Base | Rechargeable Flashlight for Optimal Performance by Fritz Wiest

Revainrating 5 out of 5

Excellent flashlight at a bargain price

I used the previous model "Slyde King", as far as I remember it was called several years. I've kept it in my tool cart, used it when working under a car, in a commercial ceiling area, working in a computer case, or just on the go. and it was always better than any other light in every single case and it was a fraction of the lumens of this new one. Depot/Lowes or Walmart and the like. then there are the LANTERNS. The point is, though, that most of the latter come at insane prices only justified by the rich, dumb, and/or stupid. I've known mechanics who have bought "Snap On" lights from dealerships who will pay $100 for months. for lights that aren't even as good as this one. . . I bought the original model probably 3-4 years ago, actively used it and only now my micro USB connector failed. I feel this is unjustified as I took care of the light itself and the port in particular. BUT it's a micro USB port after all and those bitches tend to fail. However, this one is new. Wooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooool that's nice. The OG was exponentially brighter, boasting 500 lumens. that damn 2000. I mean obviously. This time they put it in the title, it's a bloody big deal. The work light is just as good, with the same panel and features. Speaking of "features", more or less. this applies to all lights. So you hold down the PWR button and the lights will dim and then return to the desired level. In fact, the RED SOS blinker has changed the pattern to 3 alternating beeps and not just a flash like before. While one should never use an SOS signal, it goes without saying that it would be more attractive. IP 67 this time too, not even sure what it was last time. Just a big improvement for a negligible increase in cost, if any. Depends on what you got the last one for as you can still buy it from Revain and more or less the same price as this one. I don't know why anyone would do that right now, but you can. I know I bought mine at a hardware store many years ago for about $35. So this price makes sense to me. This is a new model with obvious improvements. Everyone should always have such a headlight in their car. You never have to worry about running out of batteries as they can be recharged over and over again. (You obviously need to keep it charged though). It's available as a flasher if you need help. It's the brightest and densest light you can ever use when you need to work on something or take an emergency trip to dark places. Easily mounted to magnetic objects, it uses either a directional beam or a wide task light to illuminate any work area. Easily turns off any regular flashlight for miles.
