The biggest problem with disassembling Xbox One controllers are the backplates held by clips. Once they're removed, you can use the included screwdriver (it's magnetic, how nice!) to remove the front cover. Then just replace the old one with the new one and BAM! Your controller looks like a wreck! Can't recommend it highly enough, even with the silicone controller case the gold shines through the cracks giving the controller a new "cool" feel.
