Great camera for the price

This is what I imagined from the 960H cameras. This is quite a noticeable improvement. During the day everything is seen much better and at night the night vision works much better. There is no white halo at night that my other cameras have. I'm sorry that pixels appear when using the zoom function, but since this is not PTZ (pan, tilt, zoom) this is to be expected. I need to be able to accurately identify someone from about 50 feet away. While this gives a good image, much better than what I got with the 960H, it's unfortunately not good enough at this distance. Looks like I'll have to get a PTZ because there's no room between here and there to get the camera closer. I don't use it for this at night, but as a side note, the night vision works up to 25ft with no problem. the quality of the fasteners. The included screws are very flimsy and can be easily removed. Tiger, QSee, Zmodo, Swann, etc. in the same price range came with poor quality mounting screws. Do yourself a favor and buy three high quality, stronger screws with a larger head that won't fall off to mount the camera. You will thank me later. If you're still using sub-2MP or 1080p cameras, it's worth upgrading for both day and night use. One thing you'll probably need to do is change the baud rate. on your DVR. My TigerSECU DVR has low, medium and high settings but even on high settings the picture was very poor. Then I noticed the custom option. Even on high settings, the bitrate was only around 4000. Using the custom setting, I set it to the highest possible, around 10,500 kbps, and that pretty much got rid of all the pixelation. So if this is your first time connecting and you get a bad picture, try this. Edit: I had to upvote a star because one of the cameras randomly switched to night mode during the day when it's not even cloudy. I think the sensor is dead.
