Unusual material, seemed less effective, didn't shrink when washed
The filter material is different than what I'm used to. Instead of feeling like felt or cotton, it feels synthetic and like a freshly starched shirt. Also, I always buy longer socks as I expect them to shrink in a high temperature wash. After washing they are still "starchy" and not shrunk. I've only run them once in my sanctuary, but they seem to have picked up less dirt. I will wear more traditional shorter socks.
