This is a well made product that does exactly what it is supposed to do. I have to give a higher rating for that. For flying only, which is the main reason I bought them, the noise level is too low to be usable. Because headphones aren't designed to block out noise, even at max volume, you still can't hear very well on an airplane. I tried this myself and had to cover my ears or hold my headphones to my ear to hear the sound. So if your main purpose is to use them on an airplane, this product probably won't suit your needs. It comes with a splitter which I found very useful as I have two children and they want to watch the same movie together. .
