I've never been so excited to write a review. I discovered a clothes moth infestation a few weeks ago and I've never experienced anything like this. I found larvae in my bed and shortly thereafter all over the apartment. I couldn't believe this was happening without realizing it! I have three cats and live in an old building that never stops collecting dust. Not to mention cracks and small holes that any bug can easily fly through or into. In addition to using lots of white vinegar and water for a feverish cleanse, I had to buy a few traps. I've researched to the point where I consider myself an expert on clothes moths. I live alone and after a while I felt neurotic like bugs were crawling all over me. It was a lonely and overwhelming task. After much deliberation about which traps to buy, I decided on the clothes moth traps from Dr. Killigan. After the first few days I didn't find anything in the traps, so I rearranged them in other places. I've read that they catch butterflies in a matter of hours, but I've also learned through my research that male butterflies don't get far unless they have to, so it may take a few tries before they find the right spots. Under furniture or on the floor behind the next one. They love dark places and are not often disturbed. At that point I received an email from the company asking me how things were going and I was shocked. No company has ever treated me like this. I told them about my situation, sent them several emails and felt really concerned and supported by them and it means a lot to me. They sent me a box of free supply traps in case I identified the wrong moth and I got them in the mail the next day! Luckily, after moving the traps a few times, I think I've hit the sweet spot. Now every trap has moths in it and I've heard that if there are moths in the trap other moths will be attracted so I'll leave them there for 30 days. My cats don't mind traps, but one of them accidentally got her tail caught in one. 😬 (no joke) I also ordered Trichogramma Minitum wasps to take care of the eggs and larvae. I will receive them tomorrow. If you haven't heard of them try them, they are a natural little moth killer and they won't bother you, your animals, your food, you won't even know they are there. They are 1/50th the size of a normal wasp. These are amazing little things and I can't wait for them to get here so I can get started. However, they only care about the eggs and larvae, so I'll use the clothes moth traps from Dr. Keep using Killigan for the next few months until I know those little bastards are gone. When dealing with a situation like this I can't tell you how important the support is and that's exactly what I got from this company. They emailed me out of the blue to ask how things were going just when I needed them the most. That says a lot about the company and its commitment to its products and its customers. Really, I couldn't ask for a better experience. I will continue to buy these products and recommend them to anyone who doesn't know where to start.
