After using it more than once I can say I was very skeptical at first because the beans stuck together when I received them and I didn't like , as they broke up separately. The texture was a little strange at first, but after heating, the consistency became smooth. They took a little longer to heat up than any other beans I've had (I took them to 195 to melt them), but they got the job done. They were easy to use, but a real problem was that they didn't seem to pick up all the hair on the first try, so I reapplied them to the same area multiple times. The only other issue I've noticed is that after waxing, my hair grows back faster than ever, which I don't like. Whatever the smell, I don't consider it an important factor when buying beans. But you get what you pay for, this is a great wax bean deal and they're organic. Solid 3.8/5, I'll keep looking and comparing to other beans. The best wax beans I've had (which seem to be discontinued) are YEELEN brand wax beans, they get into every hair and I don't see any growth within 2 weeks!
