Not as strong as expected and disappointed

My #70 Bulldog slept in this bed until the last few days when he left it and went to sleep in another dog bed. When I checked the bed tonight I noticed a crack in one corner of the panel and the other panel began to crack. The description of this bed states a maximum weight of 135#. It's about half the size. I don't know if there were stitching or canvas flaws, but it shouldn't have ripped. I had it about 3 months. Not easy to assemble.
