My baby is 2 months old and has a flat spot behind his left ear because he prefers to turn his head. Results are yet to be seen if that flat spot diminishes - it's only been a few days - but the pillow definitely keeps her head in the middle position (preventing her from turning her head to the left and lying on that side ). ).
