There are reviews that say the bracelet is torn. That may be true, but it's not a piece of jewelry that you can just slip on and wear. This is a "Special Day" bracelet designed for Holy Days of Commitment. The rest of the time it should be kept unless you are very careful. Here's a tip. The clasp is small and difficult to attach. So if you're by yourself trying to attach it, simply tape the end of the loop to your wrist and then "thread" the hook through one of the loops. This worked fine for me.
