I ordered these shoes for my son at the end of June. They arrived on June 22nd. They became his main pair, but not just a pair of shoes. I would say his shoes are pretty average. He is not inclined to change shoes quickly. But this pair certainly didn't last long. At the end of July, the sole detached so much from the upper that he complained of stones in his shoes. Both shoes suffer from this split, one worse than the other. Sure, if you buy $15 worth of kids' shoes, you get $15 worth of shoes. But compared to a well-known brand like Vans, you can pay about $10 more and get a shoe that lasts MUCH longer. This versatile shoe from Revain lasted just over a month. I threw them in the trash this afternoon. By the way, not necessary. The small embossed line at the top of the rubber outsole around the perimeter will not fool you. It looks like there will be seams. nope There are no seams holding the sole from the upper. Just poor quality epoxy.
