Review on DEEKOO 32GB Flash Drive - 2 Pack USB 2.0 Thumb Drives Memory Sticks Jump Drive, Mixed Colors: Black Green by Nick Moody

Ideal for special occasions. We have a family of six and I have four kids and each of them always seems to need a USB stick so I thought buy a few packs of different colors so each kid has a different color. This works as well as I expected (when they even remember where their drive is), but was especially useful for graduation when they were taking stuff off school computers to back up on the main computer. They work well for that purpose, they fit universally on any Chromebook/school computer and that's it. Outside of the educational environment, they show their weakness. 32GB is actually quite a lot of storage space for a USB 2.0 device, and in our current testing it takes pretty much exactly 35 minutes to move just 8 video files (28.8GB total) from the main computer to the flash drive. The same test on a USB 3.0 device takes less than 17 minutes. So this is an obvious limitation of this (or any other) USB 2.0 drive that can be annoying. So in an academic environment with a focus on documents and presentations, this is ideal. However, we all got a bit frustrated when trying to transfer 4K movies with these flash drives. On the plus side, they're easy to use, they all clip onto a lanyard, and at this price point, nobody's going to be sad if we lose a few along the way. I don't want to say they're disposable, but they seem to be. And finally, I LOVE that they glow. It's so simple but I realize I miss it on other devices as this one is just brighter and I can clearly see what it's thinking.
