I ordered a Sears sofa because I couldn't find anything that fit. This should pretty much sum up why I needed to add foam to the seats, but I'll continue anyway. A few months later, that stupid couch almost broke after just an hour of TV. I put the foam directly on top of the cushions and then covered the sofa with a sheet (my family doesn't like trendy sofas, we can't count on pretty things), so I have to cover the padding so I can wash it weekly. or so. In any case, that foam made the couch so comfortable that I chose their beds for my recovery from last month's surgery. Much better!
