I ordered a stainless steel rasp and this glass cleaning brush came as an accessory. When I opened up this wiper I couldn't believe how sharp the impacts were. But I couldn't imagine it being as effective as a rasp. Deep down and lo and behold, this thing is AMAZING! This gives you much more control over how much and where exactly you remove the dead skin on your feet. They won't "go too deep" or rub against healthy skin. I've found that it's easy to remove dead skin if I soak my feet to soften them and then dry them completely before exfoliating with this glass scraper. I will never use a rasp again!
