Update September 2017: I tried to buy a new 3.5mm cable but it didn't work. He must have drawn something into the connection. I was shocked when we received the package last week and it was a brand new set with a note saying they support their product and sorry we had an issue. I am VERY satisfied with their customer service. Now let's hope this set lasts a long time because I really liked the product from the start! Went from 2 stars to 4, time will tell if they should go to 5 stars! I like her. My daughter is very comfortable, the foam ear pads are light and soft. Although they are a bit chunky, they fit well when she is in her car seat. I like that they fold up a bit more compactly to fit in a tablet case or backpack. The noise is quiet enough that I'm not worried about her hearing, but loud enough that she can hear it over the street noise during our LONG commute to work. She can usually hear me if I'm loud enough to get her attention but that's also something a 4 year old tends to drown out the parents ;-) They didn't snap or snap anywhere but the cord got caught and pulled out of the fabric - like shroud and may have pulled the connection because now they don't work anymore. No sound. Disappointed with their durability as we haven't used them roughly. They seemed to be much more durable than others we've had in the past. I think I can try and see if it's just a loose connection, but it requires more work than the $20 item.
