Review on πŸŽ’ Retro External Earphone Backpack: Stylish Vintage Daypack for Casual Adventures by Aaron Thawngzauk

Revainrating 5 out of 5

Durable, stylish and comfortable. Great unisex and reversible bag.

I bought a brown backpack (regular, not large). It's lighter than the product photos, but that's normal. This can be because monitors display colors differently, so keep this in mind when viewing images. Carrying straps / how comfortable it is for left and right handers, C.) Security / Anti-theft, D.) Water / rain / snow protection, E.) Internal storage capability, F.) My 1st problem with the backpack, G.) Product Bonus Gift. A.) - I hate wallets so I wanted to find a small and simple backpack as a replacement. This bag is about the same size as my handbag but holds more, has much more organized pockets and is easy to carry thanks to the straps. It doesn't cause me any back or shoulder pain when worn or carried and (for women or gifted men who may be interested) the cross strap is padded so it doesn't hurt/rub/sore where it presses against the chest .B. ) - The straps can be adjusted for a tall/stocky build and shortened for a slim build. I'm built like noodles so I usually have a hard time finding straps that shorten enough to fit the pack without slipping/sliding or dangling, but this worked beautifully. Depending on the material of the shirt/jacket worn underneath, it can slip a little, but it's not annoying. The design of its shoulder straps also makes it easy to maneuver, allowing you to move it from the back to the side to open without having to completely remove your bag to get inside. The bottom of the bag has two hook-on rings on either side, which allows the bag to be conveniently carried or reached on either shoulder, making it suitable for both left and right handed people. .C.) - Except for the lower front pocket, which only has 1 zip puller (and therefore cannot be closed easily), this backpack can be easily secured against theft. Each zipper has two pullers and each puller has 2 holes with enough space to attach a thin [luggage] cable lock. The two zippers can be easily zipped together and pickpockets cannot open them easily/unnoticed. And unlike bags, I don't have to worry about someone grabbing my pack and running away with it because the cross strap can be zipped closed, making it safe for my body. This doesn't mean it will prevent ALL thefts, but it will deter petty thieves who need quick and easy loot. D.) - Although I do not recommend submerging the backpack in water, throwing it in snowdrifts or leaving it open. During storms (remember the bag has built in electrical components!) it has held up pretty well in the rain so far. Depending on which way the wind or snow is blowing, some of it may end up in the small hole in the top pocket, but I don't mind that much. If I had my electronics in this top case during heavy snow/rain, I'd probably just stuff a small piece of cloth in the opening so I don't get wet until I'm out of the weather. the stereotype of women's handbags as black holes carrying an incredible amount of random items? My wallet was like that, and this backpack (despite being the same size as a wallet) holds MORE. And he has BAGS! Not a ton of pockets (like pockets within pockets, like nesting dolls) but enough to keep things organized. I can put my tablet, phone, umbrella, lunch, tissues, pills, sanitizer, power bank, books (no textbooks!), cords, stationery, lotion, cutlery, water bottle, headphones, etc. whatever I have in there at the moment, but it is still room for more. Despite the weight, the straps do not stretch. Q.) - Overall I think this bag is fantastic. The only thing I don't like is that the top clip that connects the front of the bag to the shoulder strap is loose so every time I tighten it it slides like clockwork and releases again. It's not a big deal as it's not a hassle - I just like to keep my packs as close to my body as possible so as not to invade other people's space and that loose clip/strap means the top of the bag. mess around a bit. If I'm not too lazy I'll probably just sew on the clip's loop to keep it from hanging out. D.) A present came with the backpack: a leather purse! He only holds cards, but that's okay. I've been thinking about replacing my bulky wallet with something similar, but now I don't need it anymore because of this gift. It's well made and fits well in my jeans pocket even with cards on it.
