12 for $20 is a great deal, especially since each has four rubber feet that are about 1/2 inch in diameter and 1/8 inch thick. They lie flat, don't wobble and, most importantly, don't scratch. The holder is fine - it's clearly designed for 8 of them as some don't fit. What's really cool is that they can be laser engraved (if you have an engraver) - so you can customize them. The holder has no legs so it slides easily - not a big fan of its overall design. Too short and there will be a sharp spot on the weld that could scratch the countertop or table. Solid 5 stars for coasters, 3 for holders.
