Glad I can use this to upgrade my new one to 2 din. My only complaint is that the brackets that connect to the radio are ABS plastic. It's durable but a little disconcerting. Metal would be better but it's the only game in town. You will need to remove the metal clips from the back of your original bezel. Use a small screwdriver to help. The hole is 2din, but not all 2din radios are the same width. My Pioneer NEX radio is the same width as the opening, so I had to line up the radio brackets to bring the radio back far enough to attach the decorative bezel. The small tab on the radio mount has broken off. I turned off the radio about 5 times before this happened because I was doing things like installing a satellite or hooking up a backup camera. The clip served as a guide but did not affect functionality. It's black, but not quite as black as my Jeep, but don't get stuck on it (I almost got stuck on it.) No, you don't have to paint it matte black. Fits the car perfectly.
