The description fits my intended use, simple right? I chose them based on bestseller rankings and average ratings. I wish I had read some of the negative reviews beforehand. I removed all 1141 light bulbs in my van, replaced them with these LED bulbs and turned on all the lights. I was immediately disappointed that the new headlights weren't as bright as the old 1141s, making the camper look a bit dark and drab. This is the first time I've bought replacement LEDs and found them to be dimmer than the old style. I contacted the seller to ask why the new headlights were dim, and that's where the oddity comes in. First I've provided photos of both the original setup and the newly installed LEDs for comparison to show that the LEDs have more shadows and aren't as bright. I thought that was the end of it2. The seller asked me to take a photo of my original 1141 bulbs (regular 1141 automotive style), I think to prove I wasn't using high powered 1141 lightsaber bulbs.3. The seller then explained his analysis that my lights must be miswired (reversed polarity) and offered to swap the positive and negative wires.4. I checked for correct polarity with a voltmeter, but still removed one of the dome lights, swapped (reversed) the wiring to verify this. The old 1141 lit up like a champ but the LED bulb didn't light up at all.5. The seller then replied that I should use 12V AC, not 12V DC. I assured them that was not the case. Two days after this back and forth the seller asked for photos of the installation to make sure I had the wrong product. I have already provided photos, but I have again provided photos of 1141 versus LEDs.7. On day 4? the seller replied that the photo of his product that I took was not his product (!) suggesting that I am lying to him and told me that if he supported me I would have to send him real photos of theirs product. I have again sent several photos including the product packaging and its light bulbs, both lit and unlit.8. In our last message, the seller suggested I buy https://www.amazon.com/AMAZENAR-Extremely-9-30V-DC-Replacement-Interior/dp/B01N0GP3ZP/ from them. These bulbs cost about 8x the original bulbs ordered, which are advertised as "1141 RV Camper Replacement Lights" and are more expensive than many other options. I am sending them back for a refund. Let the buyer beware, they work but not that bright. And the seller's reactions were weird, to say the least.
