I bought red and navy blue over dresses and sweaters. I LOVE the mug and hood; that's why i bought them and not just checked scarves. The navy blue was softer than the red out of the pack - in fact the red was quite prickly so I washed it twice with more fabric softener and it's fine now. They are definitely tall enough to reach your waist and will cover your arms completely unless you have very long arms. It wasn't exactly what I had in mind, but I wore navy blue in the rain recently and was quite pleased that it was longer than I thought it would be. It also kept me warm and dry which is a bonus. Definitely recommend. They look very high quality for the price.
