No side support

I love fabric baskets/building blocks. I think I have about 40 in my house right now. I use them everywhere and I like that they are lightweight and foldable. There's something really good about these cubes. They're made of durable canvas fabric that I don't see tearing unless you pierce it with scissors. There is no spot where they will break/crack with normal use. The dice are also covered in an off-white fabric that keeps things from getting lost in the bottom corners. Like most cubes of this type, they have a rigid frame at the bottom and a rigid frame at the top. The center of the cube is held only by the density of the fabric. As long as the dice remain upright, stacking them is very little. When that happens, they look sad on the shelf where they lie. If you're storing a lot of items in the cube, or items big enough to stabilize the sides, I don't think you'll have any problems. However, if you store small items in it, they tend to fall off. I've tried keeping larger items in there for a couple of days and then taking them out hoping that would stabilize the sides, but once the items were removed they fell back like the tiniest bump. I think these cubes could benefit from something inside that could be used to fix the sides. The rope handles are strong and the base is strong enough to support a decent weight. They could easily hold a full container of detergent and won't break. The frame can bend when trying to carry that much weight, but the cube won't break, and neither will the handles. Overall I like how big they are and how much they can hold, but wish they were sturdier.
