I love accessories and items that are well made and work every time I use them. This LED does exactly that. Every time I connect through the app it works great and it's such a treat and a sigh of relief when it happens. Sometimes when I'm trying to capture a subject and want to change the hue or brightness, I can do that from my phone. and do not have to get up very useful. The LED light is a bonus because it doesn't get as hot as regular incandescent bulbs. Although the LED doesn't get that hot, there are fins on the body itself to help dissipate the heat. I like to use a telescopic tripod as it is easily adjustable in height and can support the weight of the light without tipping over. The LED screen on the back of the lamp is easy to read even in bright daylight. I was a little nervous, but since it has a dark environment, the contrast of the numbers is easier to read. Setting up the light and tripod from the case takes just a few minutes. It takes about the same time to remove it i.e. a few minutes. I like that the extension cord is long and not just a few feet. This greatly simplifies finding a power source without restricting installation near the outlet. Setting up the app that works with light took a few minutes the first time and after that it doesn't work anymore. must be reconfigured.
