Art-n-Fly 48Pros Marker Set - [ ] No bad/strong smell - [ ] Comfortable to hold, nice body - [ ] Both ends are nice to color in, they're smooth - [ ] they blend and layer well - [ ] the box has little dividers that keep the markers in the right position and make it easy to keep them organized if you want - [ ] fast shipping - [ ] I contacted customer service once before purchasing and they are both helpful and pleasant - [ ] EASY GOOD MARKS! neutral (facts, not a deal breaker!) issue, but sometimes it confuses me, even with the color swatch sheet (which I highly recommend you do) (pic 1) - [ ] it looks like they make baseball caps that go with the colors fit, they are just wrong markers (pic 2) - [ ] ink spilled in some caps, this should happen with alcohol based markers - [ ] some tips are bent (pic 3) - [ ] cracked plastic on the top of one of my markers broke (pic 4) Cons: [ ] TOO MANY REPEATING COLORS; At least three bays are VERY SIMILAR and their hats are NOT the same color at all. Based on the caps, you'd expect something like auburn (93BR), ocher (BR97), caramel (100BR), and sand (BR101), but no; You will end up with a bunch of similar dark browns. (pic 5) - [ ] This also happens with BG255 and GY167, Y38 and GY173, although I understand they are slightly different I think they could easily be eliminated and replaced with colors like navy blue and navy green. Overall I was very pleased to receive these markers and add to my small collection. They are fun and easy to use. The only thing I would have wished for in this marker set is so much repetition of the same colors. I feel a little cheated when I have 3 identical shades of brown, 2 shades of green and 2 shades of yellow. Additionally, while these ALCOHOL-BASED BRUSH MARKERS cost about $1.66 each, which is an amazing deal for brush markers, I think repeat colors should be discounted by at least $5. All in all, I recommend them to anyone who wants to get started. Your collection of markers.
