This is the only case I've had on my phone in 2 years and I love it! , varies from 3 to 5 feet on carpet, concrete, asphalt, metal and tile, and my glass is almost flawless apart from very small scratches you can barely see. However, it's a compromise as it's a bumper case. I paired it with brand D leather for a year and the case did push and fold some leather a bit, but only because it shifted slightly when tightening the leather. I ended up just cutting that part off and pressing it into the skin, and I've had almost no problems since. There's some flaking off, which is probably due to rubbing in my pocket, a fall, or cleaning with alcohol, which I later read you shouldn't do. It's also looser from having taken it off and put it back on many, many times, but it's still reliable enough to stay on my phone. Some people say it's difficult to take off, but it's not that bad, just insert the bottom of the phone and then clip the top two corners from the back of the phone one by one. These are not good reviews, that's why I'm writing this now!
