Review on πŸ”Œ USB Surge Protector Outlet Extender BESHON, 6 Outlet Power Strip with 3 USB Charging Ports (including 1 USB-C Port), 490J Electrical Outlet Expander with Phone Holder for Home, Office, and Hotel by Stephen Cooper

Revainrating 4 out of 5

A convenient way to increase the number of outlets, but be aware of the limited power level of USB/USB-C

USB port)-C), 490W outlet expander with phone holder for home, office and hotel* * Pros: Convenient power strip that doesn't need extra wires and doesn't need to be mounted on a wall or table - it's easy Adds more outlets to your wall - Love having USB outlets in addition to increasing the number of outlets from 2 to 6 - Green LED indicates it's on Bad: - I was disappointed to see that the USB-C socket delivers a maximum output of 15W - The sockets are quite close together, so that's all Has more than one regular plug, likely blocking other outlets. Conclusion: I am very satisfied with this socket extension, since I can now plug in 5 sockets. instead of two and you get multiple USB outlets without consuming one outlet with a converter brick. Unfortunately, I didn't know that my Apple HomePod Mini requires 20W and that the USB-C output of this power strip has a maximum output of about 15W. I tried, HomePd doesn't work. I also have an AC adapter that is blocking a second outlet because they are close together on an extension cord (see image). But even with these limitations, I still find this extension very useful and will continue to use it under my desk for a variety of dietary needs. The price is also very reasonable, especially considering that it includes surge protection.
