Appears smooth and stain resistant. Not super dark
Just received and loving them so far. They're not as dark as the S-gel I've used. But they are smooth. I'm concerned about the length of the tips of thin pencils as they can easily bend or break if you don't have a light hand. The ink dries quickly (which is greatly appreciated by left-handers).
