Before I bought this wallet I used a staple I stole from my office. Sure, it's better than a binder clip or elastic, but it's also way better than the new standard in front-pocket wallets, which are basically glorified elastics. What do I need it for, it meets all my needs and more. There are 4 separate pockets, each of which can hold cards or cash. My favorite pocket is for "I hardly ever need them" cards, hidden behind an ID card pocket with a clear plastic window. The only thing I find silly is a keychain unless you attach your wallet to a belt loop or something. You can easily remove the ring from the loop. Conclusion: Those famous Kickstarter rubber band wallets are absurd. That's all a person needs, unless that person is crazy. For the price, buy three or four to have when the manufacturer retires.
