Review on PetFusion Vertical Scratching Standard Preference by Miranda Smith

My cats love Pet Fusion's infinity symbol scratching posts, but they still scratch tall bar stools and sofas. I decided to add this vertical cat tree to my house hoping they would stretch/scratch it instead of the furniture. ADVANTAGES: Both cats accepted immediately, without persuasion. Attractive design. Continuous. Slips on hardwood floors even with the rubber stickers they give for the floor (I just got a cheap rubber floor mat). Too bad it wasn't dark brown like my other Pet Fusion [See. UPDATE BELOW] Sizing is ok but wish it was even bigger so my cats can stretch fully [SEE. UPDATE BELOW] My cats still scratch furniture, but much less often. I think my cats would absolutely love it if Pet Fusion made one of those standard tall scratching posts out of this material. UPDATE 08/24/2016: I am updating my rating from 4 to 5 stars. Pet Fusion now does so in a larger version and in a darker brown. It's great to have options! I have the larger one and bought a replacement for this smaller one so my two kittens can take turns at will. These really last a long time. I was annoyed at first that they were a bit slippery but the cats made a game out of it. It's pretty fun to see where the scrapers go in the morning. A cat also likes to push the hair tie back and forth under the scratching post. (The sides of the triangle are slightly curved for this.) Great that the scrapers double as an entertainment center.
