Review on Andis T-Blade Replacement for T-Outliner Trimmer - Model 04521 by Digna Rodriguez

Revainrating 5 out of 5

Everything was fine at first, then it started to stick

Unfortunately my Andis clippers fell off the counter in the bathroom and broke a few teeth off the blades. So I ordered this replacement blade. Replacing the blades was pretty easy, just 2 screws. The first haircut or two went well. I oiled the blades with oil after each cut. Then about halfway through I started buzzing in my head and suddenly the clippers got a lot louder as they cut the new hair. Tonight I was halfway to the haircut and low and lo and behold the volume was starting. Only this time the blades began to stick poorly. I tried oiling them and kept cutting, but nothing. I disassembled, cleaned and reassembled it. Still catchy. So now I have no options. I'm sending them back and exchanging them for another set of replacement blades. I hope as there are so many reviews that average above 4 stars. It would be a real shame to know that the only reliable blades are the ones that come with the clipper from the factory as these clippers cost $60. 2 months. Very disappointing.

Pros
  • High test scores for grip and durability
Cons
  • Not as thick as other picks
