I bought this keyboard because I didn't want to shell out $300 to Apple. This keyboard works as advertised. Pros: Keyboard works great. The trackpad works smoothly and without any problems. The keyboard feels responsive and solid. I can't say enough now, I was surprised at how easy this case was. I expected a lot more weight from the battery and keyboard. It weighed just a little more than my leather flip case. Cons: I bought it for both the keyboard and to use as a stand in video conferencing. Unfortunately, this case wobbles too much for a video chat. The full weight of your iPad rests on the pivoting hinge, so any movement of the desk to write, type, or even press causes the iPad to bounce up and down like a head. It just doesn't lend itself to a professional video chat session. All in all, this case is pretty good. If you agree that the keyboard lags when you type, this is a good and cheaper alternative to the Apple keyboard. Unfortunately it didn't work for me.
