UPDATE: They may need a resistor even if they don't use Hyperflash.
Strangely I have a 2016 Toyota Corolla (as in the picture) and I don't see a noticeable difference in brightness. It will not change my opinion as I will buy these lamps anyway. This is a great light bulb replacement. UPDATE: A resistor may be required even if you don't have Hyperflare. When the brake lights are on, my radio stays on until I release the brake.
