Had to add some cardboard just so I had enough thickness to hold the screws on my tank. With no cardboard for added thickness, the holder was very loose. If you have doubts between this light and A029, I recommend this light. I switched to this one from A029 and it's much better. Pros: - Lightweight like the updated A029 (higher rating, more customization options, remote control, better built-in timer). Cons: - Difficult to install due to oversized screws. In short - Buttons and remote control not 100% responsive - Looks like an unfinished product that needs reworking
