Review on πŸ“ž Enhanced Call Assistant SD: Advanced Phone Call Recorder for Landline - Desktop Standalone Unit by Brandon Guidroz

No documentation

Hello; In general, I like the device, but there are some shortcomings, such as B. (1) Information on the website and in the brochure/instructions - Cannot detect if the device is connected with a USB cable; Telephone calls cannot be recorded! (2) No information on the microphone type that needs to be compatible to use the recording function - dB gain, dynamic type, etc. (3) turn off the damn beep when the batteries in the device are low / need to be replaced (4) steps to program the device and which buttons do not always work correctly? In general, the device records well, telecommunications connections are simple, and its size is easily concealed. The Call Assistant software is simple and straightforward, but you get a lot of file errors and so far I haven't found a way to recover calls with a file error. I have a caller ID with a name and most of the numbers that appear in the caller ID. Doesn't come with a phone number so it's very hard to know what call you're on or looking for. Your software needs a column that always lists the phone number and in the adjacent column; You can make a note for the ID, what it's called for easier listening etc. Other than that I like the device and software so I'm not discarding it but changes need to be made as less expensive recorders/software and PC based systems are better call ID and documentation. For $300 plus software, that's too much; It's all about sensible usability/functionality. Many Thanks.
