Video can only be captured with digital zoom. A flashing indicator on the screen indicates when the flash has to be used, and it must be lifted by hand. No eye-viewfinder is present. The case houses the LCD screen, which cannot be removed or turned. The main disadvantage for me, which I had to get used to for a very long time, is that the flash takes a very long time to charge. It is very challenging to get a good picture of a child with such a flash because it will all be over while it is charging (maybe due to the fact that there are only two batteries, not four).
