This item folds flat enough to easily fit in a large suitcase. Ideal for occasional outings with a cat. It's easy to break into a rented room that doesn't let cats in. (Not that I've ever done that.) Admittedly, cleaning can be a bit of a hassle, especially if you do it daily - you'll have to scoop the contents into some sort of garbage bag and possibly secretly toss it in the trash. (Don't just rinse it off.) Then clean the carpet, if any, or sweep the floor. We combine this with a foldable portable cat bed (similar to a portable litter box but with a mesh front and back).
