The cat has stopped scratching the sofa!
We had a problem with our cat scratching our new sofa. I made the top and bottom tiers on the sofa out of duct tape. This worked great to keep the cat away and I think we can safely remove it now. The only problem is that he removed some of the couch fiber with it. Thankfully, our sofa is pretty plush and won't show after a little rubbing. Other materials may not be as forgiving. It is very sticky and sticks well!
