Good film camera for my XTi

I bought this film camera to use with a Canon XTi digital camera. I like to shoot both film and digital and the two cameras use the same lenses which is a plus. I do a lot of photo documentation, and with a negative in hand there's less chance of claiming something is photoshopped. This is important in my research direction. The camera itself is comfortable to use and light in weight. The autofocus is flawless and very fast. The viewfinder is bright and the mirror and shutter are relatively quiet, another important feature of my work. The grip gives a secure feeling, which in turn is important on the field. I would recommend the camera body without hesitation. The lens, on the other hand, is not bad, but not perfect. I don't like lenses without a metal mount so I ditched the kit lens and replaced it with higher quality lenses from Canon. I need a tight, vibration-free mount and don't trust plastic mounts. In general, it was an excellent bargan, and I have already shot several roles in films with it.

  • Easy setup
Cons
