Super soft with pants
They are very soft! And not transparent. They are really high waisted. No need to resize. I'm 5ft 8" and have a very (let me be nice to myself) curvy butt and I ordered a size XL to increase the size and make sure the length was right for my ankles and they weren't too tight and don't see through them. They also fit well in length and I could get away with more.
