Review on 🐢 Aquatic Turtle Medley Food: Freeze Dried Shrimp and Mealworms for Reptiles and Amphibians by Ursula Kennedy

I got this product based on the reviews ignoring the fact that it's from China as everything is made there now so it's not very relevant so I decided , to give it a try. I followed the directions of soaking them in my red ear slider before feeding to enhance the flavor (as directed on the container) but it wouldn't draw too much attention 😑 I can say it provides a good amount of product for that Money and is decent size shrimp 🍤 (much more than another brand I've used) but it doesn't matter if your pet doesn't get them. Received the product and it smells pretty bad, also the turtle is not attracted to his food, just sniffs it and ignores it completely. I see the container has been updated, it has now removed the expiration date it used to have (as seen in other reviews). It now includes an expiration date of 24 months, which I think can be misleading considering whether it's from the time it was stored by the company or once opened. There is no way of knowing if that time has passed and how long it has passed/remained. Decided to ignore the fact that customer questions are not published and despite asking multiple times I have not received an answer to my questions and probably many other customers have also asked questions about ingredients, manufacturing and expiration dates or preservatives included that cause odor that they have . a lot of dust that may be natural due to processing methods, but it also contains some worms that are different in color from the rest, they are darker and not the best for feeding your pet. Included are photos of these worms and some extra snacks included as extras (moths?) compared to some of the others in the container. Giving two stars for size and container but will not order again, turtle not allowed
