This bed is amazing. In fact it’s better than mine and all 3 of my children’s mattresses. My Beatrice is living in the lap of luxury now. Once it got here we let it "re-inflate” for 2 days. There was no waiting any longer once the kids found it and decided they wanted to claim it for their own. It wasn’t an issue for us anyway. The bed was fully inflated and had no smell at all. Because my girl is a Great Pyrenees and about 100 pounds I bought an elevated frame bed to put this on for additional height. She’s getting older and it’s important that we take care of her joints. We hit the jackpot when we got Beatrice and also with getting her this bed. I can not say enough good things about it. It’s very well made and I’m extremely impressed. Seeing both of my 100 plus pound Great Pyrenees lay on it at the same time and it not go flat was like witnessing a miracle! Now I’ve got to order another one for my boy GP because he runs and jumps on it every time she gets up. I keep a twin fitted sheet over it so I can cut down on the amount of times I’ll have to unzip and wash the cover.Buy it. You won’t regret it.
