This controller seems to be almost perfect. The texture and buttons are mostly identical to the original GameCube controller. My original GameCube controller has a softer feel, but I'm wondering if it's worn down after 20 years of use. Exlene is more clickable, but not in a bad way; It's the same as any good new controller. The sizes seem to be correct and in a blind test I probably won't be able to tell immediately which one I'm holding in my hand. The GameCube controller was superbly designed and the Exlene took exactly the same form to maintain that excellence. The L and R "triggers" on the Exlene controller are just the ZL and ZR buttons on the Nintendo Switch, and with no analog functionality, they've opted for the button press to take a much smaller distance between the fingers. It seems a bit odd if you're used to the original controller, but it's not bad at all. The main downside is simply that Nintendo Switch games were never developed with a GameCube-style A/B/X/Y interface. Keep key layout in mind. Some games may have non-intuitive and complex controls by default. Luckily, even if the problematic game doesn't have key remapping in the settings, you can remap keys through the system menu and your games will feel right at home. The Legend of Zelda Breath of the Wild) who constantly depend on HD growls, the Exlene controller provides constant full growls. Also, thankfully, almost every game has an option to turn off rumble.
