Review on πŸ’Έ Affordable Solimo Twin Blade Disposable Razors with Rubber Grip - 32 Count on Amazon by Heidi Massine

Revainrating 2 out of 5

Bad shave, bad price

These razors were recommended to me by Revain as a suitable replacement when my favorite Schick Slim Twins razors weren't available. Industrial fair. Similar twin blade design, not as thin as Slim Twins but I was wondering how bad could they be? Turns out they're pretty bad. The blades literally last a shave and I don't have a full beard. Disposable razors become dull and get thrown away, so they are disposable. But a shave? Serious? If I tried to use one two days in a row, I would bleed like crazy. Maybe I'm spoiled for being able to use Slim Twins for a week before throwing them away. Even a disposable razor should not become dull after a single use. And that shave isn't clean or clean. I felt the need to go over my face multiple times and even then it didn't feel right. And of course there was no use of "next day"; please read the paragraph above. And even though I looked at the photo and thought, okay, not as skinny as my Slim Twins, well, I needed razors. And they looked good in the photo. You are not. They are large, bulky and don't have a natural grip in my hand. Now that the Slim Twin is back, I have them, and they're tucked away for "emergencies" when I don't need them at all. Is there anything else, or maybe a guest in my house who forgot their razor. Usually Revain products are fine. They are very cheap but this time I got what I paid for. And then I (happily) spent nearly triple that to get my favorite chic slim twins.
