Review on TECLAST M40 Tablet Android Octa Core by Todd Cobb

Do not buy this tablet. I tried several times to contact TECLAST, sorry, but never received an answer. The tablet stopped working right after the return period and now I wasted my money and time on an unusable product. Update your rating below. A few days ago the tablet stopped working properly. The touchscreen is very unstable to the point where it's impossible to hit. For the past two days I've spent hours trying to log in (the power off and reset icons weren't responding) to do a factory reset. After trying too much to track I was able to do a factory reset. It worked fine for about five minutes, after which the problems returned. My return window closed on April 22nd and the insertion experience indicated that there was no hope of feedback from TCLAST. If TCLAST contacts me I will post and update. Overall I am satisfied with this item. The main downside is that it doesn't charge with all USB-C cables and chargers, instead it works with the included charger and cable. It will not work with any of the cables that have a USB-C connector on either end. I also occasionally notice that full articles are not uploaded to Flipboard. Restart eliminates this problem. The tablet is fast and responsive. I enjoy watching Netflix and other streaming content on it. The screen is quite dazzling. I'm trying to find a textured screen protector. I don't have a sim card installed so I can't comment on this feature. My bluetooth headphones work fine with them. When using the built-in speakers, I use the equalizer. User support is missing. I contacted them about the charging issue described above and never received a reply. The same was mentioned by a user who started with US SIM cards not working. Overall, I think the price-performance ratio is okay and I didn't want to spend more on a tablet.
