Review on ⚡️ Fast Charge Encased iPhone 7 and iPhone 8 Charger Dock Stand (Case Compatible) - DockMate² MFI Certified Lightning Charger (Adjustable Design) Aluminum/Black by Jill Lee

Need a dime or a way to fix the adjustment screw to get 5 stars

Works great on my bedside table. I've found the screw on the back to spin for a few weeks, reducing the height of the lightning ports. To confirm this I marked the screw with a marker and of course the screw turned counter clockwise when installing and removing the phone. This solution was easy, just slide the coin behind the screw and don't turn it again. ***UPDATE*** The original dock was knocked off the bedside table and the lightning connector broke. I ordered another one as the original was great but they changed the design. While the dock used to have a rubber foot to prevent slipping, the new dock has a pole foot similar to that of a windshield suction cup cell phone holder. It sticks very well but now I can't just rotate the phone so I can see it from different angles. I don't know what the goo is doing to my wooden bedside table. If you leave the plastic on the base and cover a sticky surface, it will slide and tip over. They also appear to be lighter than the base, the original had weights on the bottom which appear to be gone. So unless you stick them on, the base will lift up when the phone is removed from the dock. Finally, the Lightning connector is no longer spring-loaded and will dangle back and forth, making it difficult to connect a phone in a thin case with less than bright light and a few tries. Not very good in the bedroom when your spouse is sleeping. In the original cases, the charging port was spring-loaded so it was always in the same place, now it just wobbles back and forth. Had I known these changes were made, I would never have re-ordered the dock. I would have sent it back but I threw away the box when I got the dock.
